Mike Western

Mike Western (b. Southampton, 4 February 1925; d. 13 May 2008) was a British comics artist.

Amongst the stories that he drew are :

  • Knock-out: "Lucky Logan" and "Johnnie Wingco";
  • TV Express: "No Hiding Place" and "Biggles";
  • Buster: "The Leopard from Lime Street" for Buster;
  • Valiant: "The Wild Wonders", "Jack O' Justice" and "The Duke of Dry Gulch";

  • Speed: "Baker's Half Dozen";
  • Tiger: "Topps on Two Wheels" and "Golden Boy"
  • The Relaunched Eagle: "Computer Warrior", "The Hard Men", "Shadow" and "The Avenger"
  • Scorcher/Roy of the Rovers: "Billy's Boots"
