Dark Horse 100 Special Edition Exclusives Beginning in 2006, Dark Horse announced a contest that awarded 10 randomly selected, participating comic shops with 100 variant cover comics each, exclusively available through the Dark Horse 100 promotion. The giveaway was a success and resulted in a total of 16 individual exclusives produced for continuing promotions through 2009
