Hulk

Creation & Design

The Hulk was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, inspired by the story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, representing the duality of man.

Early Years

Initially, Hulk was portrayed as a misunderstood monster, often hunted by the military and other heroes. His early stories focused on the conflict between Bruce Banner's intellect and the Hulk's primal rage.

Character Development

Over the years, the Hulk has evolved from a simple monster to a complex character representing rage, trauma, and the struggle for identity, becoming a staple of Marvel's storytelling.

Cultural Reception

The Hulk has been received positively, becoming one of Marvel's most iconic characters, known for his catchphrase 'HULK SMASH!' and his representation of the struggle with inner demons.
