Early Years

Ogami Itto, once the Shogun's executioner, becomes a wandering assassin after being framed for a crime he did not commit. He travels with his young son, Daigoro, seeking vengeance against those who wronged him.

Character Development

Throughout the series, Ogami Itto evolves from a vengeful assassin to a more complex character grappling with his past and the future of his son, ultimately embodying the tragic hero archetype.
