Kamala Khan was created by writer G. Willow Wilson and artist Adrian Alphona, debuting in 2013. She was designed to represent a new generation of superheroes, particularly focusing on a Muslim-American character.Early Years
Kamala grew up in Jersey City, struggling with her identity as a Pakistani-American teenager. After being exposed to the Terrigen Mist, she discovered her Inhuman abilities and took on the mantle of Ms. Marvel.Character Development
