Seven of Nine was created by Brannon Braga and Jeri Ryan for the television series Star Trek: Voyager, introduced in the fourth season to boost ratings and add complexity to the crew dynamics.

Early Years

Originally a human named Annika Hansen, she was assimilated by the Borg at a young age and transformed into a Borg drone, known as Seven of Nine. Her journey back to humanity began when she was liberated by the crew of the USS Voyager.

Character Development

Throughout her time on Voyager and in subsequent storylines, Seven of Nine evolves from a cold, calculating Borg drone to a more emotionally aware and complex individual, grappling with her humanity and her past.
