Sinestro

Sinestro

Creation & Design

Sinestro was created by writer John Broome and artist Gil Kane, originally conceived as a foil to Green Lantern Hal Jordan.

Early Years

Initially a Green Lantern, Sinestro was expelled from the Corps for his authoritarian methods and later became the leader of the Sinestro Corps, which harnesses the power of fear.

Character Development

Over the years, Sinestro has evolved from a villain to a more complex character, often portrayed with shades of gray, struggling between his desire for order and his methods of instilling fear.

Cultural Reception

Sinestro has been well-received as one of the most iconic villains in the DC Universe, often praised for his depth and complexity.
