Ambush Bug tells Superman the origin of his costume, which Supes thinks is ridiculous until he realizes it is the same as his own origin. Mr. Mxyzptlk causes his usual chaos at the Galaxy Broadcasting building because he wants his own TV show. Worse, Mxyzptlk has cast a spell preventing anyone from saying their own name backwards! But Superman finds the loophole and sends Mxyzptlk away. Jimmy Olsen is turned into a weird blob by a bad batch of his Elastic Lad serum.
