A Zero Month crossover issue. Clark Kent’s Smallville classmate Kenny Braverman has been transformed into Conduit, and is out to kill Clark Kent. Conduit stalks outside Clark Kent and Lois Lane’s new apartment, prepared to kill him. While Conduit stalks Kent, the two remember back to an earlier point in their live, when both of them were in France. Kent, working as a journalist abroad, encountered Braverman, an undercover C.I.A. agent encouraging French radicals. Braverman, his revenge re-stoked for Kent, works Kent’s death into his plans. Unfortunately for Braverman, Kent survived and saved the day. Back in the present, Conduit’s assassination attempt fails, and is surprised when Superman comes immediately on the scene. Prepared, Conduit blasts Superman with a Kryptonite blast, which sends him falling into the river. 1994 Triangle #39.
