Synopsis
The story is really two parts: "The End of Delight" and "Tied Down By The Temptress Of Torment" The End of Delight The End of Delight is the main story. This story focuses on the tarot card 10 of swords, which represents Ruin. Gloriana wakes up in Gloria's body after a wild night of sex. Gloriana decides to do some Superhero work before returning Gloria's body to her for work.The story splits when Gloria is at work and Gloriana is in Thule (Paradise Island). Gloria really believes she is imagining things that Gloriana is doing and Gloriana is being visited by the 10 of Swords. The 10 of Swords brings warning and ultimately leads to the separation of Gloria and Gloriana. Tied Down By The Temptress Of Torment This story is the Glory story that Troy reads after waking up from his wild night of sex with Gloria. Tied Down By the Temptress Of Torment is a Golden Age inspired story with death traps and no knowledge of the feminist movement. This issue would also be drawn by Matt Martin to give the comic a change in visual continuity.
