Synopsis

A collection of comics and stories, including -- "The Adventure of the Underfed Orphans" , featuring the Green Lantern :   A salesman offering tickets to a dance to benefit an orphanage pics the interest of Alan Scott, who, in disguise, investigates charges that the orphanage feeds its charges sub-standard food. -- "Mystery of the Medium" , featuring Dr. Mid-Nite :  At a seance chamber in the center of town, a "spirit message" swindler, known as Ichabod Snipe, prepares for a seance for a trusting old lady.  As he deceives her by pretending to have summoned the spirit of her dead husband, an unseen witness in the shadows, Dr. Mid-Nite, plans to put a stop to this faker.
