Alpha Flight breaks up and Purple Girl brings both Laura Dean and Goblyn with her to her mother's home. She learns that her biological father, the Purple Man, has recently died and she visits the grave, expressing that she wished he was alive. However, her power is able to make that happen and Purple Man arrives with a legion of corpses to visit Purple Girl. Goblyn attacks them and they defeat Purple Man.
