Being framed for a death, Spider-man searches for Normie Osborn who has been kidnapped by the Green Goblin. Black Tarantula requests permission to bring his operations to the city and Fortunato, spurning the Rose, allows him in exchange for Spidey's head. Tarantula spares Spidey when he learns he is looking for Normie but takes half of his mask as a prize.
