Synopsis

Cover by Dan DeCarlo "Fan Club" On a hot day, Archie has a portable fan invented by Dilton Doiley, using the case from a broken camera for the fan and the camera case to hold the battery. Reggie is not impressed, until Archie uses the battery case to knock out a thug who snatched the fan, thinking it was a camera. "Vacation Spell" Sabrina is on a vacation, but Aunt Hilda sends her videotapes with lessons on spells and making witches' brew. "The Source" Archie wants to give Betty a small gift for helping him with his car, but is afraid that will make Veronica jealous. Jughead suggests buying each one a gift. Betty appreciates the gift, but Veronica is suspicious and wonders what Archie has been up to. "Brave New World!" After coming to the beach alone, Archie dreams of defeating a bully, saving a girl from drowning, and trashing the bully (again), along with his friends. "Sail Tale" Reggie is practicing sailboarding in order to make Mr. Lodge's sailboard team for a trip to Hawaii. Reggie tricks Archie into thinking sailboarding is easy, but when Archie tries it, his clumsy antics turn out to be just what Mr. Lodge was looking for to add to his team.
