"Echoes of History" Magdalene, Swordsman, Vision and Deathcry arrive in Scotland to investigate their remote tracking station. They meet up with a Shi'ar warrior legend called T'kyll Alabar and he tells them of his greatest victory against the Butcher, a leader of a race called the Mephitisoids and how he was exiled with him to prevent his evil from ever rising again. Unfortunately, the Mephitisoid leader has escaped and has put an entire Scottish village under his control. Swordsman and Magdalene fall under the influence of the Butcher and help capture the Vision.
