Synopsis

"The First Rule!" The Avengers lose contact with the Black Knight's team but Sersi is able to maintain her telepathic link with him and reveals he is in great pain. Vision reveals that his discovery that the Kree have brought the Nega-Bomb to Earth to seeking revenge against those they feel responsible for the fall of the Kree empire. An enraged Sersi blasts out of the mansion in search of the missing Black Knight and the other Avengers quickly follow. Meanwhile, on an island in the South Pacific, Kona Lor tortures the Black Knight as Crystal lays unconscious and a bonded Hercules unsuccessfully tries to convince them that the Supreme Intelligence was behind the Kree's destruction as Deathcry is brought in next to be subjugated. The Avengers take out the two Sentrys sent to intercept them as Galen-Kor's crew arms the Nega-Bomb and prepares to kill Deathcry. Hercules saves her at the last moment just as the Avengers enter the ship as Crystal and the Black Knight join the fight. The Avengers gain the upper hand but the Kree teleport off-planet as the bomb enters the final stage before detonation. Sersi, with Vision's guidance, manages to rearrange the molecular composition of the bomb to reduce its destructive power as the Avengers escape before the island is vaporized. Meanwhile, in space, the unseen adviser to Galen-Kor is revealed to be the Collector, who severs his alliance with the Kree and vows to capture the Avengers himself. "Swordplay³" Sean Dolan gets caught up in a bank robbery in progress by the Plug-Uglies and transforms into Bloodwraith. He takes the soul of Foam but an explosion kills Flame before the sword reaches him as Deadpool appears claiming the disks found on the ground are for him. At Castle Garrett, Dane Whitman talks with Victoria Bentley, who recalls Bloodwraith's origin and wonders if her fate is intertwined with him. Whitman receives a call from Crystal about Dolan's location and he takes off. The Black Knight joins the fight between Deadpool and Bloodwraith and stops the latter from killing the former only to end up at the mercy of Bloodwraith. Bloodwraith hears someone from behind, and believing it to be Deadpool, turns and stabs his aggressor only to see it is Victoria as her soul is taken by the sword. The Black Knight knocks him out while Deadpool teleports away with the sword. Bloodwraith summons Valinor and heads off after him as the Black Knight vows to kill him if he sees him again. In Sarajevo, Bloodwraith appears ready to settle his score with Deadpool but the sword's bloodlust has been settled by Victoria so Deadpool is allowed to go free but not before Bloodwraith issues a warning before departing.
