Synopsis

"Let Slip the Dogs of War!" The Avengers are now back on Earth after the Kree-Skrull war, the team must try to locate the missing Avenger, Goliath. However this search must come to a hold when they hear news of a group calling themselves the Warhawks (led by "Mr. Talon") have been responsible for a riot where all involved seem to be compelled to act out violent behavior.Investigating the riot themselves, the Avengers soon find themselves the victims of the violence, which is being caused by Mr. Talon's pan flute playing minions. It turns out to be Avengers vs. Avengers until Thor arrives and it is revealed that "Mr. Talon" is actually Ares, the Greek god of war. With the help of the Avengers, the pan flute playing minions (really satyrs from Olympus) are taken out and everybody resumes back to normal, and Ares escapes. When wondering about an arrow which was shot that aided in their defeat of their mission, they soon find it was shot by their missing friend, who has taken on the role of Hawkeye once more. Hawkeye has also brought along with him an amnesmatic Hercules who is preaching the coming of an impending doom.
