Bad Boy is the story of a roughly 10 year old boy called Jason who repeatedly tries to escape an enclosed community that is "An ecosystem in perfect balance, a prototype for a brave new world; A free world; Hate-free, violence-free, toxin-free, drug-free, meat-free, smoke-free..."; Ironically, his captors use nearly all of these to help subdue him; Jason attempts escape several times with the help of a fellow prisoner called Mary and his genetically enhanced cat Adolph.
