Synopsis

DANGER STRIKES FOUR Dick Grayson reads Alfred's latest Batman II and Robin II story, in which the future Dynamic Duo battle a renegade scientist and his robot. The story gives Robin an idea of how to deal with a real-life threat to Gotham City. After Robin's idea saves the day, Batman and Robin return home and Robin provides the best ending to Alfred's story, based on his own experience. THE AMAZING ODYSSEY OF BATMAN AND ROBIN Batman and Robin are swept away in the Bat-Boat by a tidal wave caused by an underwater volcano eruption and are eventually captured on an island controlled by a criminal magician. Batman and Robin have to overcome capture by the island's natives, who have been enslaved by Kardo. Eventually Batman and Robin subdue Kardo and the natives realize Kardo's power was an illusion. Before they and capture Kardo, he releases am amnesic vapor and escaped via secret seaplane. After leaving the island bound for Gotham they are attacked by a giant squid and apparently killed. When the news of their deaths becomes known to the public, the criminal magician decides to capitalize on the heroes' absence, but he soon realizes that he has been tricked into going into action while the Dynamic Duo were waiting to capture him. It is later revealed that the heroes faked their deaths in order to capture the crook. THE STRANGE EXPERIMENT OF DOCTOR DORN Batman and Robin battle a huge, green humanoid monster that claims to be the creation of a Dr. Dorn. Seeking out Dr. Dorn's help, he offers to create an antidote capable of destroying the creature. But, after some investigation Batman realizes that the creature is actually Dr. Dorn transformed after inhaling the vapors of a strange chemical concoction. Without wanting to harmi the scientist, Batman uses the antidote created by Dorn during one of Dorn's terrible transformations, and Dorn returns to his normal state never realizing that he was the creature all along.
