Synopsis

DEATH-KNELL FOR A TRAITOR! Batman follows an ex-Navy man who turned traitor during World War II to gain a fabulous diamond from the Japanese. Batman soon learns that the former Navy man is in cahoots with the international criminal known as Colonel Sulphur and he has to stop them from recovering the valuable diamond.  Batman follows them to a reconstructed vessel from the war, where the former Navy man hid the diamond years ago. Batman fights Colonel Sulphur and defeats him, but the former Navy man manages to recover the diamond. Unfortunately, he starts reliving the day when his ship was attacked by the Japanese and in a rush of panic, he jumps out of the vessel, falling to his death on a small submarine. Batman is not able to save the man, nor does he recover the diamond, which is lost in the depths of the ocean. THE IMMORTAL OF USEN CASTLE Robin takes a group of kids from New Carthage on a field trip to an old castle as Dick Grayson along with his friend Diane Lewis. They are allowed in the castle as it was recently bought by Hudson University, but upon entering the place, they realize that the place looks like a haunted mansion. True enough, Diane and a couple of kids are grabbed and taken away while nobody is looking and when Dick realizes, he switches into Robin before he starts investigating the mystery. Suddently, he comes across a couple of armors that seem to move by themselves, but he soon learns that these are mechanical contraptions to scare intruders.   Following the clues, Robin finally finds some secret entrances in the castle that take him directly to the kidnapped people. When Robin confronts the man responsible, he learns that the man is in fact the last owner of the castle and that he has been forced to use scare tacticts to keep intruders away on order to hide the terrible secret behind the castle. The man takes Robin to a cellar where he introduces him to the very first ancestors and first lords of the castle, who had lived for 200 hundred years after discovering the inmmortality serum. Unfortunately, they have not stopped aging despite their inability to die and the man is forever haunted by his own ancestors.
