Synopsis

THE STATE-BIRD CRIMES! Paroled from prison once again, the Penguin attempts to convince the Birdlovers' Society to elect the Penguin as a state bird. After the Society mocks him, he gets revenge by robbing them one by one until he is stopped by Batman and Robin. THE BRAND OF A HERO! When Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson learn of an unsolved mystery from the past, they ask Professor Carter Nichols to send them back in time where they discover the truth about the mystery. THE BLACK DIAMOND! A crime lord known as The Black Diamond is helping notorious criminals escape from prison to make them join his gang. When his new gang is gathered, Black Diamond asks them to kill Batman by any means necessary. The first two attempts to kill Batman are not successful, but on the third attemp the criminals manage to shoot the hero. However, it was all part of a plan to capture the criminals and Batman was never really in danger. By the end, Batman tracks down the Black Diamond and captures him, allowing the police to arrest the criminal mastermind.
