Synopsis

THE VALLEY OF THE GIANT BEES! Batman and Robin trail a gang of sugar thieves into a secluded jungle, but during the chase, a sharp wind knocks the Dynamic Duo unconscious in the wilderness. Batman has an hallucination that the thieves are actually drones working for a race of giant bees and that Robin is kidnapped and enslaved by the bees. When Batman wakes up, Robin informs him that the gangsters are taking the sugar to a liquor still and shortly after, the feds capture the criminals. However, Batman doesn't seem to get over the giant bees dream. THE SLEEPING BEAUTIES OF GOTHAM CITY! Catwoman announces her return to Gotham, and soon Selina Kyle enters a beauty contest, successfully preventing Batman from arresting her without proof of her being the Catwoman. When she later succumbs to a strange illness, even Batman is baffled by the appearance of the Catwoman while Selina rests in a coma. One by one, the contestants of the beauty pageant become ill just like Selina, and when all of them are incapacitated, Selina recovers miraculously. Batman's suspicion increases as Selina becomes the winner of the contest by default and he discovers that the prize is hiding smuggled diamonds from Paris. After this, Batman is able to deduce the trick behind Catwoman's apparent illness and the Queen of Crime is finally arrested. TEN NIGHTS OF FEAR! By the end of an apparently normal day, Batman starts having horrible nightmares after getting his Utility Belt radio inspected by a detective from Scotland Yard. With time, the nightmares become worse and Batman starts to lose his sanity and has to be locked in an insane asylum. However, once given some time to think, Batman deduces the truth behind the nightmares and he calls Robin to get him out of the mental hospital. Batman realizes that his belt radio has been tampered with, which is the cause of his nightmares and when Batman confronts the detective from Scotland Yard, he realizes that the man is in fact a notorious criminal who has kidnapped the real detective. Batman captures the criminal and he finally is able to sleep well at night.
