Synopsis

THE TRUTH ABOUT HALO PART 1 - ... GOODBYE... After long investigations about Halo's past and background, Bruce Wayne asks private eye Jason Bard to track down Halo's home town and parents in Arlington, Missouri. Bruce provided him with the only the name "Violet" as a clue and Bard eventually locates Violet Harper's family. When the Outsiders learn of this, they start the preparations for Halo's return home, while Metamorpho, wanting to see his love, Sapphire Stagg has Dr. Jace create a device to counteract his weakness: The Orb of Ra.   In Halo's hometown, the Outsiders leave their friend with her parents and say goodbye to the youngest member of their team, something specially hard on Halo's boyfriend, Geo-Force and her roommate, Katana. Meanwhile, Metamorpho gets in touch with Sapphire, but her father Simon has foreseen this event and attacks Metamorpho with an army of men, each one armed with an Orb or Ra, and Metamorpho is effectively killed.   After the Outsiders have returned to their headquarters after dropping Halo off at home, they are startled when they find Dr. Jace and Sapphire waiting with a dead Metamorpho.
