Synopsis

OLD SUPER-HEROINES NEVER DIE-- THEY JUST FADE AWAY! While trying to stop a robbery, Batwoman is attacked by one of the thugs with a special weapon, which fires a ray that incapacitates her. Upon recovering, Batwoman goes to Batgirl's appartment, but she dissolves into a pile of nothingness at Barbara's doorstep. Analyzing Batwoman's costume, Barbara recalls a similar chemical from her days as student and switching to Batgirl, she locates her old chemistry teacher, Professor Nu, who is currently working at Hudson University.  While doing more research, Batgirl calls Robin to help them find a cure, and Dick is forced to lie to his girlfriend, Lori Elton, who seems to know more than Dick suspects. Robin and Batgirl are tasked by Professor Nu to find the origin of the virus that caused Batwoman's disappearance because it is highly contagious and would affect everyone who came in touch with with including Batgirl and Nu.   Batgirl and Robin investigate the case and re-trace Batwoman's steps in order to learn whatever happened to her. They learn about the robbery that she tried to stop and following the clues of the crime scene, they find the carnival that Kathy owned. After interrogating a few members of the carny crew, Batgirl and Robin finally find the criminals responsible for Batwoman's disappearance and they take the criminals down, taking the virus weapon with them. Unfortunately, Robin was also infected by the virus and in order to reach Hudson University in no time, Robin calls his friend Kid Flash and has him take them back to Professor Nu, who develops a cure and restores everyone's normal state including Batwoman. The seasoned crime-buster is shocked after what happened and she promises to stay in retirement, while Robin resumes his student duties as Dick Grayson. CINEMATTACK! A movie-fanatic amateur "exorcist" is convinced that his neighbour is possessed by the devil, unaware that he is simply Man-Bat, and tries to destroy him. The man lures Man-Bat into a trap in his apartment and after he uses a series of make-shift weapons modelled after movie props, Man-Bat decides to use one of his Man-Bat pills to convince the exorcist that he's been cured.
