Synopsis

NO MAN'S LAND PART 77: ASSEMBLY REDUX At his hideout, Joker is watching the news and learns that there has been negotiations in Washington, D.C. about the reopening of Gotham City. Lucius Fox is interviewed by the press and tells the media that there isn't a resolution yet.  Elsewhere, Catwoman delivers the discs she had stolen from Hardcases Inc. to Batman, who notices that there is something wrong with Catwoman and asks her to take care of herself. Catwoman does her best to show him that she is doing fine, even when she isn't.   Batman goes to Oracle's Watchtower to give Oracle the discs and finally finds out who was the people behind the scenes in Gotham. Oracle discovered that there has been at least 300 tons of construction material moved into Gotham. It is clear that someone is preparing to rebuild the city. Oracle and Batman both know who is the person involved.   At that moment, Penguin is talking to the mysterious woman and offers her his services in terms of protection. However she turns it down as she is already under someone's protection: Bane.   At the Gordons' home, Jim and Sarah discuss their situation and in the end, Jim tells her that he is tired of dealing with No Man's Land.   In Blue Boys territory, Pettit and his men march to the court house and demanded to see Two-Face in order to execute him. Renee Montoya stands against them until Batman arrives and forces Pettit and his men out of Blue Boys territory. Huntress tags along with Pettit and without saying a word, she leaves with Pettit's men.   Batman and Jim meet in Jim's backyard. Batman brings Azrael and Batgirl with him. They tell Jim the news about Gotham's reopening and that gives the man a bit of hope. They decide that it is time to deal with the Joker's threat and Batman tells Azrael and Batgirl to evacuate the territory near Joker's place and to bring the people to the Blue Boys' territory.   Joker also decides that it is time to make his move and he is ready to move all his forces against Batman's territory.   Robin is keeping an eye on Bane and the mysterious woman and he informs Oracle when they move. Oracle tells Batman that Bane and the woman are on the move and that there are some helicopters approaching the city. Batman tells her that he will track them and see what it is they have planned.   The woman arrives at the landing site and finds Penguin and his men ready to start working. The woman tells Penguin to leave, because his help isn't needed. When Penguin and his people are out of the landing site, the helicopters descend and from one of them comes Lex Luthor. The woman is named Mercy and she is working for Luthor. From the other helicopters come some reporters and start questioning Luthor. Luthor doesn't pay them any attention and he tells Mercy to get ready to rebuild Gotham. Batman is close, watching the scene in silence.
