Synopsis

cover by Dan DeCarlo "Writer's Block!" Betty has a short story due for composition class and she can't figure out what to write about. "Oh...De Odor!" Mr. Lodge's perfume company develops a new fragrance named "Veronique", in honor of Veronica. However, the scent smells terrible on Veronica, and very alluring when Betty wears it. "And Away Go Problems Down the Drain" Betty takes a tip from her mother and tries soaking her frustrations away with a long, warm bubble bath. "The Good Deed" Veronica invites Betty along when the Lodges are invited to stay with Lord and Lady Faversham in England. Bored with the shut-in lifestyle of the younger Favershams, Betty and Veronica show them how to mix with the "common folk".
