Blade of the Immortal's level of unsettling horror gets kicked up a big notch in 'Barefoot,' Samura's current story arc. Doc Burando is put back into service in the dark prisons under Edo Castle. Kagimura gambles that he can get his top lunatic doctor back on track with just a few . . . unconventional adjustments.
