Synopsis
As the horrific "Barefoot" story arc comes to a close, Kagimura's prisoners are getting restless, and Burando continues to accelerate the pace of his deadly experiments. The other doctors in Edo call his "immortality research" blasphemous and shameful. Burando feels that he's making medical history, though, and he becomes frantic and confrontational when Kagimura wants to put a test subject out of his misery. Burando's a new man, Manji's a sliver of his former self, and Döa helps Rin steal something that may be extremely vital to their rescue mission.
