Years ago as a Army ranger, Richard Kinkaid, a.k.a. Blowtorch, had his face disfigured In a minefield blast. During that recovery he fell in love with the nurse taking care of him Susanne. Things did not work out but the love for her was still in his heart. Years later he gets a call from her saying she needs help. He runs to be her hero. Only Catch his team mate and new girlfriend Rowan Kelly, a.k.a. Footpath, goes with him.
