Y2K's strangest outcome continues to unfold as a group of hackers finds the world turned back to the year 1900. Trapped in Edwardian times, missing their project leader, and split up by circumstance, the team of elite computer hackers gets sidetracked from their plan to hack their way back to 2000 and instead concentrate on blending in with the natives. As aliens from an alternate future close in, Reilly has another chance meeting with daredevil reporter Nellie Bly; Max finds a tinkering job to help him build his steampunk computer; and Teri finds her moderate feminist values creating a stir.
