Synopsis

Responding to a telepathic plea for help from a mysterious woman named Snowfall, Captain America has taken a severe beating at the hands of the Widowmaker, guardian of the sanctuary where Snowfall is located. Cap is saved only with Snowfall's telepathic intervention. After overcoming several deceptive mental projections intended to slow him down, Cap discovers that Stephen Tuval was was entrusted with Snowfall in order to manipulate her psychic abilities. Tuval vanishes and a self-destruct sequence begins, but Cap and Snowfall escape just in time. After thanking the man who rescued her, Snowfall proceeds to walk over the side of a nearby cliff, leaving Cap baffled.
