Synopsis

In the final issue of volume 3 (before the title is relaunced as volume 4 issue #1 but keeping up the old numbering with a watermarked #36 next to the #1), Genis succeeds in breaching the hideout of the alien creatures who've taken Marlo hostage. It turns out that these aliens are mindless creatures who gain sustenance from plugging sentient beings into a machine that displays their memories for these creatures to view. While Marlo's life is displayed for all to see, Rick arrives just in time to see Marlo's memory of her kiss with Moondragon displayed on screen.Marlo admits to having feelings for Moondragon and Rick agrees to take a break from their relationship; leaving in a bit of a huff through Genis and leaving Marlo and Moondragon to explore their newfound feelings for one another.
