Captain Marvel and Iron Man are building a mechanism to find the Controller and Lou-Ann. The Controller is elsewhere in the city, with hundreds of slaves in his power, including Lou-Ann. Thanos orders him to kill Captain Marvel when he comes. When the sun rises and Captain Marvel's powers are at their maximum, he runs locates the Controller using Iron Man's tracking device. A huge battle starts between them and at the end, when Marvel is on the verge of victory, Thanos summons the Controller away, punishing him for the defeat. The Controller's slave discs lose their power and his former slaves return to normal.
