Synopsis
Allison Andrews has a husband that doesn't pay attention to her, a dog with intestinal problems, and a job that she really loves. She's a detective, and a damn good one at that, some would argue the best... at least for a woman. Her partner is a hell of a guy, if a bit too patronizing. Her boss is actually a nice guy... and he's yet to come on to her. The bills are paid, she's got three weeks of paid vacation, and her car is more reliable than her husband. Everything seems fine in her life, not perfect, but fine. But all that is about to change. THIS ISSUE: The Governor is dead. Allison and her partner Darrel are on the case. Other than the fact that this is such a high profile victim, everything seems to be going by the book, until strange things start to happen. Allison finds herself wrapped up in a conspiracy of epic proportions. Friends become enemies, and enemies become allies as Allison's world is turned upside down. Will Allison survive this ordeal?
