Pre-Code crime comics from Charlton, sometimes published under its short-lived Capitol or Law and Order imprints. Mr. and Mrs. Chase encounter espionage in postwar, divided Berlin, in one of several stories (and cover) this issue with art most likely by Bill Molno, ghosting for an ailing Joe Shuster. Crime kingpin Al has a habit of crumpling up paper when under pressure, which proves to be his downfall. Killers make a profit by ramming and hijacking cargo trucks on the highway. There was no issue #22; the series resumed with #23 the following year, under the Comics Code. 32 pages, Full Color. Cover price $0.10.
