Black Cross - A soldier, haunted by memories of his past and injustices in the present, turns his back on his assignment. Concrete - "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" - After finding himself in a new super-strong, rock hard body and donning the name Concrete, Ron Lithgow solicits on television for ideas regarding what he might do with his new body. After reading through his pile of response letters, Concrete agrees to appear at a private party. However, the party turn out to be not quite what he was expecting. Mindwalk - A shady telepath is coerced by government employees to ferret secrets from the mind of an ailing old man. Brighter! - A young woman considers the possibilities afforded to her by her mutation, an ability to project light and create images.
