"Triad" This comic introduces the U-Foes as a villain team pursuing Charles Little Sky, otherwise known as the mutant Portal. While at the hospital looking up Portal, Darkhawk joins a fray with the U-Foes with the help of Captain and Daredevil. After Darkhawk pays Bazin another visit he leaves without finishing the job and we find out that Bazin is financing and awaiting the completion of Project: Lodestone—his weapon that’ll acquire the power of the amulet for himself.
