Vicki's love for her paralyzed friend causes her to use a Darkhold page to gain power. Unfortunately this means innocent people must die to gain the 'healing' energies needed. Vicki's friend manages to convey that she doesn't wish for this to happen, she doesn't want the dead to have died to cure her and the demonic energies are nuetralized.
