The comic comes a a bonus that is packaged with the special edition Blu-Ray release of the 1985 film Day of the Dead .  The story serves as a prequel to the movie, where we learn more about the origins of the zombie, nicknamed Bub in the film, before he died and was reanimated as one of the undead.
