DC Special #4

Synopsis

A year after Cain took over "House of Mystery" writer Mark Hanerfield and artist Bill Draut introduced readers to Abel, the stuttering softhearted brother who was temporarily staying with him in DC Special. It was evident that a fraternal friction existed between this duo, even as they narrated tales of terror to children who were holding the zombie Egor hostage in exchange for stories. Abel never earned any respect from his brother or anyone else - not even from Goldie, the imaginary girlfriend to whom he told his stories. Yet it didn't stop him reopening "House of Secrets" with issue #81 following a 3 year hiatus.  The stories contained are reprints, but the framing device featuring DC Horror hosts is original.  Reprints stories from:   House of Mystery: #2, #5, #15, #19, #26, #30, #62, #63 and #68. Sensation Mystery Comics: #114 Tales of the Unexpected: #1, #16 and #17
