Generations ago, the marauding Ma'Shiva invaded the peaceful planet Li'via.  In an attempt to rid their world of the Ma'Shiva, Li'vian scientists accidentally triggered a cosmic rebirth and La'via and Ma'Shiva were flung together and became a deadly interdimensional Junction.  Now the Li'vian army known as the Red Flag Troopers battles the warlike Ma'Shiva for control of the Junction's dimensional gateways. The Red Flag Trooper Diamond Diaz ventured to Earth with the Ondalan Dragon Lucius Ego on a mission to protect the heir to Queen Xandra's power: an Earth girl named Jamie.  While Jamie was celebrating her birthday at an L.A. dance club, Diaz and Ego attacked the Ma'Shiva just as they closed on Jamie.  As the battle raged, Diaz and Ego were aided by Master Chow Lone and his grandson Tommy, members of the famed Shaolin Temple.  The Ma'Shiva leader Oris Ogden sent the evil Soul Crusher to terminate Jamie.  Armed with his arcane socery, the Soul Crusher attacked Diamond, Tommy, Lucius, and Master Lone.  Meanwhile, Jamie learned that her friend Ziggy was secretly in love with her. Following the Soul Crushers defeat, Ogden journeyed to Earth to eliminate Jamie himself.  While Jamie and Ziggy were out on a date, Ogden and his troops attacked.  As Diamond, Lucius, and Tommy battled the Ma'Shiva, Jamie's powers manifested.  Facing defeat, Ogden retreated into a dimensional gateway, and Jamie faced the truth about her special abilities...
