Synopsis

THE MUMMY CRIME-FIGHTERS A device in an alien spacecraft turns Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson's skin green, so they wrap themselves in mummy-like bandages to conceal their secret identities while fighting crime as Batman and Robin. However, their sudden change of attire makes Vicki Vale suspicious about the Dynamic Duo's identities and her investigations reveal what she already suspected: Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson are Batman and Robin. Unfortunately for Vicki, Batman and Robin soon appear again with their normal outfits, showing no signs of green skin or radiation while Bruce and Dick are still affected. Vicki gives up her investigation, but it is later revealed that the effects are already gone and that Bruce and Dick had to use green make-up in order to throw away Vicki's suspicions. THE CASE OF THE GOLDEN EAGLE Detective John Jones is paired with Dulac, ostensibly a French detective on the trail of the stolen Golden Eagle. Dulac informs Jones that Lucky Bronson, an American gangster, is the Eagle thief, but stays so close to Jones that the latter cannot become the Martian Manhunter. Accordingly, Zook helps capture some of Bronson's gang, and gets a swelled head from the resulting publicity. In reality, Dulac is also a thief, and snatches the Eagle away from Bronson when the latter is captured by J'onn J'onzz. Zook helps capture Dulac, and makes amends with J'onzz.
