Synopsis

THE FIRST DAY OF SPRING While Calendar Man continues his plan to commit his usual crimes until the time comes to kill Batman, using Robin against him, the heroes learn of this plan and Batman forbids Robin from going on missions with him until Calendar Man is captured.   Meanwhile, Vicki Vale tries to get over her breakup with Bruce, but when she learns that Julia Pennyworth is trying to date him, their friendship is seriously damaged. Shortly afterwards, Batman manages to locate the Calendar Man and prevents his next crime, although he fails to capture the criminal. Finally and much to Batman's dismay, he learns that Robin has gone out by himself to find and confront Calendar Man. SANCTUARY Oliver Queen and Dinah Lance encounter Guillermo, an El Salvadorian refugee and naturalized citizen, who is mistaken for his illegal alien brother and is almost deported by the authorities. After Oliver learns how Salvadorans in flight from their war-torn country are helped into the U.S. and towards eventual naturalization by an "underground railroad", he is allowed to visit Francisco, Guillerrmo's brother, in a church where he is hiding. Unfortunately, the immigration authorities are on his trail, and Oliver is taken prisoner along with Francisco and the priest. Elsewhere, Onyx prepares to begin her search for Oliver Queen.
