Synopsis
In a world of Echoes, existence is never a sure thing. Imagine a technology that could replace anyone with a perfect, indistinguishable copy. In the year 2081 the technology exists in the form of Tactile Holography, also known as Echo Technology. Dreamwave Productions' latest title 'Echo' is a military action drama that follows the exploits of specialized covert government team charged with the task of protecting the world from this hidden threat. This issue launches the 12-issue Echo series and dumps you right into the action as Sho Yamato leads his team on one of their first missions. With machine-like efficiency they perform their mission impeccably, but events take an unexpected turn when they realize their assault is fully anticipated and they have to wonder if there is already a betrayer among them.
