Synopsis

David Golden visits his son Mark in Israel and is taken hostage by Saddam's forces. The Elementals are flown into Saudia Arabia. F.I.S.H. is having a hard time locating Becky's Father and it is later decided the best way for them to infiltrate is to get captured. Posing as normal people (minus Becky who is left, because her skin is green and her powers are useless in a desert), the three approach a troop and surrender. Saddam enters their camp and Monolith ridicules him, they are then sent to the place where David is being held. The Elementals break free but must contend with two powerful Gods who have awoken and allied with Saddam.   As corrected in an editorial in Elementals vol.2 #19, Bill Willingham was not a contributor on this issue. He is listed as the Creator of the Elementals though, just had nothing to with this issue.
