Emily the Strange #2
Synopsis
Vol. 1 #2 The Lost Issue Emo marketing piggy bank and thirteen-year-old girl, Emily the Strange somehow found her way into comics (cha-ching) and this is one of the resulting issues. The pages are filled with overwhelmingly black, white, and red art and cobble together nearly every gimick that the medium has had to offer over it's one hundred or so years - mazes, paper doll cut-outs, a mock advertisement page, a faux contest focused on losing the most so you can win "lost place". Filled with horrible puns, the disembodied spirits of famous odd balls, and a talking cat (a black one, if you can believe it), this is the perfect reading for anyone young, odd, peculiar, or just feeling a little lost.
