While most of the Excalibur team assist Nightcrawler in assembling the Cerebro unit, and Douglock aids Moira McTaggart with her Lagacy Virus research, Brian and Meggan are in London planning their wedding. As they chose a ring, Meggan is rendered unconscious by a strange force. Spiral appears, and Brian attacks her, mistakenly thinking she's responsible. The true culprit then appear: Barak, A'yin, and Ra'al, the Dragons of the Crimson Dawn.
