This is considered the last appearance of the traditional ("Earth One") Firestorm. "Fury of Firestorm" #55 introduced a somewhat modified Firestorm. Felicity Smoake, stepmother of Ronnie Raymond (Firestorm), is dying from a mysterious disease. The only antidote can be extracted from snake poison. But the hero has to face a gang of crooks in order to acquire it.
