At the Ziggurat, the Captain of the Guard argues with Tirant and Array: Even if he took them to the door of the weapons vault, they could not enter. Tirant produces Bain as the key they'll need if—no, WHEN G'nolga wins. Then one of Tirant's allies recognizes the Edge-Guard disguised as the ziggurat guards. One of them makes a power-inversion attack...which is just what Tirant needs to control Bain and absorb the whole Edge-Guard into it!
