Synopsis

"The List" Oliver Queen leaves Eddie Fyers at the wearhouse that they're hiding in. He goes out, under the pretense of "hunting for groceries," and sets up traps all around the hideout. Meanwhile, Mr. Hawkes and his men question the street people of Seattle about the whereabouts of Oliver, knowing that finding him means finding Fyers. Oliver returns to the warehouse and starts preparing his famous chili. Eddie suggests that the smell will lead the killers to them - which is Oliver's general idea. Oliver reveals that he knows the killers are already in the warehouse, and he eats a bowl of chili as they encounter each of his traps. Eddie pulls out his gun in preparation, but then Oliver puts out the light and disappears. Oliver uses the fact that the killers are wearing night-vision goggles to tactical advantage by first tricking them into shooting at each other, and then blinding them using a camera flash. In the ensuing panic, Ollie and Eddie go to work, and kill all of them except Mr. Hawkes, who escapes. Afterwards, Oliver demands to be shown the item that the killers were seeking, knowing that Fyers isn't important enough to send several squads after. The item ends up being a mini laser disc, and Oliver formulates a plan. The disc contains a list of Mr. Hawkes' organization's rival's membership, and as the Chairman of the organization explains to its members the efforts to which Hawkes and his men went to retrieve the disc Mr. Hawkes reveals that Oliver sent him the disc. When the disc is loaded up, the chairman's name appears on it, revealing why he had ordered Fyers killed. Hawkes and the other members turn on him.
